El 7 de Noviembre, la diputada local del PAN Norma Robles, propuso una iniciativa de Ley de la Familia la cual fue avalada por todos sus compañeros de partido en el Congreso. Esta iniciativa además de ser anticonstitucional, es discriminatoria y excluyente, ya que deja a un grupo de personas congregadas en un Consejo la capacidad de decidir sobre lo que atente contra los valores de la familia, además de reconocer solo a la familia nuclear, es decir, aquella compuesta por padre, madre e hijos, excluyendo de esta visión a las miles de mujeres que son madres solteras, esposas de migrantes, a las familias extendidas, por afinidad, homo-parentales, etc.
Cabe señalar que esta iniciativa se supone es el resultado de la convocatoria que ella misma realizó de enero a marzo de este año, consultada a la cual respondió la ciudadanía con 416 ponencias las cuales, finalmente, ella no tomó en cuenta.
Es una iniciativa con visión moralista que no deja en libertad de asociarse a las personas adultas, busca convertirse en una gran censora del actuar de los individuos, los medios de comunicación y los empresarios de negocios de diversión (bares, discotecas, centros nocturnos, etc.) al actuar como vigilante de que se promuevan valores positivos a la familiar nuclear so pena de ser censurados en caso de realizar lo contrario.
